KMW's core business is in manufacturing and overhauling wheeled and tracked armored vehicles, from heavy combat tanks (LEOPARD) to light-armored multipurpose vehicles (Mungo). It excels in welding assemblies from high-strength steel for aircraft, too. KMW also makes IT parts for weapons systems. Manufacturing and repair parts subsidiaries in Greece and the US tap foreign military markets.
